New web site look and feel!
Yeah, so here's the new web site. Things got a little
lazy for a while and the Silence Xperiment had some issues
getting things back up and running--but here it is.
Bootie SF - May 2007
The Silence Xperiment's performance at Bootie for May 2007
went very well! DJ ! did his world premier of WiiJ'ing while
DJ Funktified took a stab at having videos going to match the
music. There are quite a few videos, pictures, and other
paraphernalia floating around on the internet about the performance.

About Us
DJ !
DJ ! (pronounced DJ shift one) started Silence Xperiment Productions
with DJ Funktified in 2001. Over the years, DJ ! has been the driving
force behind a lot of the musical directions that the Silence Xperiment
team has taken. Since mid 2005, DJ ! pointed the Silence Xperiment in
the direction of Bastard Pop (aka Mashups). In November of 2005, he
released the Q-Unit album which became quite popular with the underground
scene. Most recently, he started the DJWiiJ movement and currently runs
the DJWiiJ web site.
DJ Funktified
DJ Funktified was the driving business force behind Silence Xperiment
productions. Recently, he has taken a less active roll in the duo but
still remains an active member of the team. In March of 2006 he released
the mashup of Mike Jones and the Spice Girls which gained some popularity
and even ended up on a locally distributed compilation CD "The Best Mashups
Ever Are From San Francisco 2".
Nick
The guitarist that isn't afraid to dress up like Mario for a show. Nick
brings to the Silence Xperiment what DJs can't. With his
unique ability to quickly pick up what ever song the group
feels like mashing up that day, he adds a live component to
the Silence Xperiment that simply can't be done with turntables,
CDs, Laptops, or Wiimotes. Nick often ends up contributing various
guitar and bass riffs to many of the original tracks built by
the Silence Xperiment.
